KD-2 Mapper

Drone

Drones are used in topographic surveys. The advantages of topographic surveys using drones can reduce the burden of data collection, thereby reducing survey costs. Drone survey is the solution for generating GIS data in difficult topography and hazardous conditions.

KD-2 Mapper is a fixed wing type drone that can be controlled remotely by the operator or automatically via a computer. This type of drone is good for use in aerial mapping with long flight missions and wide coverage of study areas. This type of fixed wing drone is suitable for mapping coastal areas with wide coverage and high wind speeds. KD-2 Mapper is made of polypropylene so it is light and can float on water. KD-2 Mapper is equipped with GNSS so that the photos taken already have position information. The drone is equipped with a Sony Alfa 6000 RGB camera and a MicaSense RedEdge-MX multispectral camera, which can be used to support identification and classification in mapping according to survey targets.
