About MTCRC
Korea-Indonesia MTCRC is the Intergovernmental Joint Research Center in the field of Marine Science and Technology between Korea and Indonesia based on the Memorandum of Understand (MoU) and the Implementing Arrangement (IA) between Ministry of Ocean and Fisheries (MOF) Republic of Korea and Coordinating Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Investment (CMMAI) Republic of Indonesia, was established on 14 September 2018 at the Institute of Technology Bandung (ITB) Campus in Cirebon and operated by Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology (KIOST) and ITB.
Our Purpose is to Strengthening and promoting practical cooperation in the field of marine science and technology between Korea and Indonesia, such as through joint research projects and capacity building programs.
Host intergovernmental meetings including workshops and joint committees
Promote cooperation with government ministries, institutions, and universities
Support joint seminars and exchanges of scientist between the two countries
