Korea-Indonesia MTCRC is an Intergovernmental Joint Research Center established on September 14, 2018, through an MoU and Implementing Arrangement (IA) between the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (MOF) of the Republic of Korea and the Coordinating Ministry for Food Affairs (CMFA) of Republic of Indonesia (Previously was Coordinating Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Investment/ CMMAI). Operated by Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology (KIOST) and Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). MTCRC's primary functions include serving as a cooperation platform, conducting joint research, and enhancing capacity development to strengthen and promote practical collaboration in marine science and technology between the two countries.
