Joint Commission on Marine Science and Technology
The Korea-Indonesia Joint Commission is an annual forum established since 2018 to strengthen cooperation in marine and technology sectors, following the Implementing Arrangement between MOF Korea and CMMAI Indonesia.
Its activities include:
Reviewing the MTCRC's plan of activities
Making recommendations to the Co-Directors
Reviewing all issues related to the establishment and operation of the MTCRC
Reporting on the implementation of IA MTCRC establishment to the Participants

The Korea-Indonesia Bilateral Maritime Dialogue have been held annually since 2017 to enhance Korea-Indonesia maritime cooperation, involving key ministries from both countries.
Its activities include:
Reviewing the implementation of Maritime MoU
Include officials from both Ministry, and relevant agencies from both countries
Arranging and Preparing Maritime MOU Renewal
MTCRC serves as a Cooperation Platform between Korea and Indonesia, with one of its key functions is arranging and preparing the Maritime MoU renewals to secure legal foundation of MTCRC's partnerships.
MoU Renewal discussion from CMMAI to CMFA (2025)
With the formation of Indonesia's new cabinet, the previous Coordination Ministry (CMMAI), which had collaborated with the MOF Korea, was dissolved. To maintain maritime cooperation between Korea and Indonesia, MTCRC supports the renewal of the Maritime MoU under the newly established Coordinating Ministry of Food Affairs.
Arranging and preparing MoU renewal between MOF and CMMAI (2022)
MTCRC supported the MoU renewal between MOF Korea and CMMAI Indonesia by coordinating meetings with Deputy 1 of CMMAI to finalize the revision, and helping organize the signing event during the Indonesian President’s visit to Korea.
