High Performance Server

MTCRCODS HPC

Oceanographic operational system consists of five main functional component, which interact with one another to make sure and also to increase the quality of the ocean forecast system and its output. These five components includes: (i) observation network, (ii) data monitoring and management, (iii) prediction and assessment, (iv) service delivery and deployment, and (v) product utilization by the end-user/client. The backbone of this system depend on the observational method and supercomputer facility that used some of computational and mathematical techniques which had been developed over the past decades. The MTCRC Server exist to support of any research and development activity, especially in marine/ocean field.

MTCRC Server

The MTCRC Server consists of 1 Master and 5 Slave (Nodes) server and the specification are capable to processing any computational job very fast. With upgrading plans is available in the near future would make MTCRC Server as a proper tool to support research activities with computational process related. Aside from having many processors, the whole server system also supported by a big memory and storage capacity. Moreover, to avoid any damage and data losses to the server cause of power outage which may occur at any moment, the UPS was installed as a power source backup on the system.
