Quantification of heavy metals in seawater, sediments and fish tissue are typically performed with ICP-MS, which has high sensitivity as well as wide linear dynamic range and simultaneous multi element detection capability. MTCRC will use ICP-MS for monitoring the ocean health by examining the heavy metals contents in several Indonesian seas.
