The Tide Gauge is installed in Pelindo Pier (ARA Boat Docking), MTCRC installed a weather station and tide gauge to monitor the weather and tide in the area. The radar tide gauge CEETIDE™ Mk IV consists of an electronic Control Unit connected to a distance sensing instrument or probe installed above water. This probe will measure the distance to the water surface and be collected in the Control Unit. The Control Unit then processes the data and converts it to tide height relative to a given datum that is stored.
