Preliminary Survey Training in Cirebon Area

Sriwijaya Airplane SJ-182 Search and Rescue (SAR) Survey at Kepulauan Seribu, Jakarta

MTCRC conducted a comprehensive survey to support this activity, mainly bathymetric and side-scan surveys utilizing multi-beam echosounder as part of Search and Rescue (SAR). The field survey aims to determine the bottom profile and detect a significant object in the seabed around Lajang and Laki island as Last Known Position (LKP) at Kepulauan Seribu, Jakarta as the location of SJ182 informed by BASARNAS.

Indonesia Coral Reef Garden 

As a follow-up to the ICRG Program which was launched by the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment on 7 October 2020, together with the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries and the Governor of Bali, the Planning Team consisting of researchers from LIPI, Marine and Fisheries Research and Human Resources Agency (BRSDMKP) and academics from several universities in the Province Bali expose the preliminary results of the joint survey. The planning of the ICRG program is the first step taken from 7 October 2020 with a field survey. This survey activity also received full support from the Provincial / Regency / City governments in Bali. The purpose of this activity is to obtain potential habitat suitability locations and sea-scaping placement of coral transplantation models.

To understand in detail the conditions of the existing coastal ecosystem, topography and oceanography in the waters of the PEN coral reef restoration (ICRG) location, especially in Nusa Dua - Bali which is a priority location. There are 3 survey activities namely:
